Menemsha Films Takes North America to WWII Thriller ‘Frontier’ From Filmax (EXCLUSIVE)
U.S. distributor Menemsha Films has sealed a North American deal on historical thriller “Frontier” with Barcelona-based studio Filmax. Directed by Judith Colell (“Elisa K”), the WWII drama, inspired by true events, follows a Spanish customs officer who risks everything to help Jews escape Nazi-occupied France across the Pyrenees. The project was first introduced to buyers at May’s Cannes Marché du Film, where it sparked early interest.
