This year's Mipcom sees Filmax presenting their latest series, TURU’S MUSICAL FARM. The animated series is based on the feature film TURU: THE WACKY HEN, which will be having a wide theatrical release at the beginning of next year.
Filmax will present MR HAND SOLO at Mipcom, a documentary based on the incredible true story of David Aguilar, a teenager with Poland Syndrome, whose passion for Lego led him to design and create his own prosthetic arm.
“Bye Bye Mr. Etxebeste!” will be distributed in Spain via Filmax and Barton Films.
Currently in post-production, “The Curse of the Handsome Man” will also be distributed in Spain by Filmax.
“If I Were a Rich Man” will be released in Spain via Paramount Pictures Oct. 25.
Barcelona-based studio Filmax has acquired international sales rights to José Luis Garci’s “The Crack: Inception,” the third part of a film noir trilogy whose first two installments represent for many the Spanish director’s finest achievement.
