THE NEW THIRTIES
Alberto has just turned 30. He lives on Formentera, a small, idyllic island in the Mediterranean, where, until now, he has managed to escape the responsibilities of adult life. But one night, he sees a strange light in the sky and immediately loses consciousness. The next day, he wakes up to discover that he’s 40 years old, has a family and a job and is married to Laia, his best friend from his childhood.
When he tries to explain what’s happened to him, that he was young and now all of a sudden he’s old, everyone laughs at him, imagining he’s going through the typical crisis of his 40’s. No one believes him, except his lifelong friend Sergio, who is convinced he knows what happened to him: Alberto was abducted by aliens!
