THIS SOLITUDE

Leo and Lorea have split up after five years together - but they can’t seem to let go of one another. From this moment on, they both suffer a silent and very personal process of grief, in a city that only seems to amplify their disconnection. Leo copes with the illness and subsequent loss of his father, while taking refuge in an emotional numbness that allows him to keep functioning. Lorea, trapped between precarious jobs and an unstable identity, tries to put her life back together without any real idea how to do so.

In a harsh and deeply physical Bilbao, their paths move forward in parallel, without ever crossing again, connected only by absence, memories and everything that has been left unresolved.
