Synopsis:

It’s the day of Sant Jordi, when Barcelona becomes the capital of romance! The streets are filled with books, roses and hundreds of thousands couples strolling through the streets, hand in hand and smiling from ear to ear. But not everything is love: some people have to buy their own books, because they have no one to buy one for them, some stare melancholically at the roses thinking: “one more year when all I’m doing is buying flowers for my mom”. And then there are those single people who want to take advantage of the magic of the most romantic day of the year, hoping that Sant Jordi will bring them an epic match.

In Dating in Barcelona, we’ll get front row seats to four first dates. A couple of twentysomethings sneak into a luxury hotel to have the night of their dreams. A young, married woman, fed up of her best friend having no luck with men, sets up a surprise date for her with the “perfect” candidate. A date between two older people, both married and cheating on their spouses, who deal with their own infidelity in very different ways. And finally, a date that goes so well it feels like it’s been plucked straight from a movie, which leads to doubts over whether what is happening is actually real or not.

Four stories full of love and heartbreak, that will tug on your heartstrings and make you laugh and cry. And who knows, it might even convince you to have another go on that dating app you’d forgotten about. Sant Jordi never disappoints!
