The jury has awarded the Spanish director "for his ability to direct a human story told with style, heart and respect for his characters and their circumstances". When talking about the film's script, the jury highlighted that "this brilliant script delicately tells a moving and emotional narrative about an eternal relationship between parents and children".
Manuel Martín Cuenca, Director of the film, talks excitedly about these awards: "It has been very moving to see that, during the international premiere of the film at Tallin Black Nights Film Festival, the story and the actors trascended Spanish borders and the international audience understood the film in a very special way. The awards from this "Class A" Festival have brought to me an even greater joy because they recognize both the film and my career. I am truly proud and immensely happy".
