Synopsis

Successful and valued at work, loved and admired by his family at home, Ramon has what most would consider an enviable life. But Ramon’s fortunes are about to take a turn for the worse. When his father-in-law, a bitter and solitary widower is moved into the family home by his wife, Ramon soon starts to feel the strain. He seeks refuge in his work, never suspecting that this particular escape route will soon be closed off to him forever... Ramon is diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and told that soon he won’t even be able to walk 100 meters.

Ramon now has to make a choice: to give up and let the debilitating disease slowly take over his body or to stand up and fight. With the birth of his second son, the fighter inside him emerges and he decides to take on the world’s toughest and most extreme triathlon challenge: the IRONMAN. With the fortuitous aid of an unexpected ally, Ramon will learn to overcome all the obstacles his terrible disease has to throw at him.
